Version: yEd Diagram Editor 3.0.0.5
Pros: + HUGE plus, the lines are COMPLETELY manipulatable! It doesn't assume you want the line to go where you don't want it to, you draw it, it goes there!
+ Simple to use, almost too simple.
+ Could be used for a wide range of flowcharting needs.
+ Could get the job done (I might use it to get my CIS assignments done), but very basic.
Cons: - It is VERY VERY basic, it only has (in the UML section) an actor, class, use case task (oval), note, and the lines.
- Activity diagrams would have to be made using its basic shapes and lines, not sure that would really suffice.
- Attributes and Methods (Operations) are basically edited via the VB-esque property of a multi-line text box. Meaning you will have to type the plus or minus to show privacy and the parentheses to show method/operation.

Version: yEd Diagram Editor 3.0.0.5
Pros: Easy-to-use, works like it should. I used it to create an experience map, which I then took into Adobe Illustrator to make look polished. I love the EPS export option for that.
Cons: Help file seemed lacking. I spent a while trying to figure out how to get my labels to do word-wrap inside a shape, which wasn't in the properties bar, but rather, a tool you have to use after you've created all the labels.
Summary: This is a solid product, even more so given it's free nature. Thanks yWorks.

Version: yEd Diagram Editor 3.0.0.5
Pros: Didn't try because I don;t have JRE!
Cons: Assumes that I have a Java Runtime installed! I don't! And people shouldn't assume I do! So why not mention it in the description? System Requirements: Java Runtime Version.Would have saved me a 12 MB download and you a negative feedback!
