Still hunting and pecking? Let TypingMaster Pro put your typing fingers in place. The slick interface and easy-to-follow instructions walk you through well-designed lessons, drills, and games. A special mode called Satellite watches how you type when you use certain programs, such as a word processor. It then identifies words or keys you have trouble typing and creates personalized exercises to help you improve. The typing tests show graphically which finger you should use for each keystroke, and they're smart enough to adjust their duration to your level of skill. The trial version lets you take only two lessons, but you can preview the rest. All in all, TypingMaster Pro is one of the best typing tutors we've seen--professional, well designed, and at $29.95, a value.

"Good program but free trial is locked"

Pros: Lessons seem to be very tailored to the individuals needs

Cons: free trial only goes up to lesson 2. Seriously, I finished that amount in 2 days so i don't see the point of only allowing that much content for 30 days.

"Effective, attractive, enjoyable"

Pros: Attractive, easy to use interface
Well designed, progressive exercises
Games and review to help you along the way
Lots of specific statistics to gage your progress and recommend specific areas for review
