Pros: I've always loved iTunes's simplicity.
Cons: So I download the massive 57MB iTunes setup file, and after an install that seemed to take FOREVER, I ran the new version (7.6) of iTunes. My PC goes slow (I've got a Hyperthread Genuine Intel P4 3.2Ghz) and almost grinds to a hault. I notice iTunes not responding and using 50% of my CPU. I try to uninstall it and re-install 7.5 again, and I get a message "Cannot open iTunes library as it was created by a newer version of iTunes). I try to re-install 7.6 and get the same issue of a useless PC. So there goes my playlists & ratings, and I either have to start from scratch or find a new media player!!!

I had the same problem when I tried to downgrade from 7.5 to 7.3 (to shed some pound of iTunes bloat). I got the same "library was created by a newer version of iTunes" message. It's ridiculous that the library isn't backwards compatible from release to release. It's also ridiculous that an "update" means reinstalling the entire program.
