Publisher's description of iTunes for Windows 7
From Apple:iTunes, the award-winning digital-jukebox software, is now available for Mac and Windows. The iTunes Music Store offers Windows users the same online music store as Mac users, with the same music catalog, the same personal-use rights, and the same 99-cents-per-song pricing. With music from all five major music companies and more than 600 independent labels, the iTunes Music Store catalog now offers more than 1,000,000 songs. Features include a free download with no hidden charges for extra features, MP3 and pristine-quality AAC-encoding from audio CDs, smart playlists, more than 250 free Internet radio stations, and the ability to burn custom playlists to CDs and MP3 CDs, to burn content to DVDs to back up an entire music collection, and to share music via Rendezvous over any network, cross-platform.
Version 7 adds navigation by album covers with Cover Flow, backup features, Apple Software Update for Windows, and high-quality feature movies for preview and purchase.

- "Audio? Video? iTunes can do it."
Although iTunes has always been one of the best pieces of jukebox software available, the company improved upon a great thing with version 7, which added enhanced video capabilities and new ways to view your music library. A cleaned-up left sidebar makes finding your music and videos a snap and the new Album and Cover-Flow view options let you flip through CDs in style. The built-in video player accomodates both your own files and ones you buy at the iTunes Store; right-clicking a clip lets you render it iPod-compatible. With the addition of full-length movies at the iTunes Store (Music is no longer part of the name), you can now view near-DVD quality movies at a resolution of 640x480. The experience of both purchasing and playing movies and videos is almost identical to perfoming the same actions with music, so seasoned users will have no trouble (with fast broadband, movies download in about a half hour).
All the features we love from past versions are still intact, including seamless iPod integration, smart playlists, CD burning, label printing, the ability to rip files in multiple formats (except WMA), network sharing, and, of course, the enormously successful iTunes Store. Rounding out the feature set are parental controls, integrated podcasts, and a smart-shuffle option. Whether you're already among the converted or have yet to try this top-notch player, iTunes 7 should find a home on any media junkie's computer.

Version: iTunes for Windows 7
Pros: Great new features, such as automatic artwork finder, and a well organized workspace. Much better than iTunes 6.
Cons: Memory hog. around 85 MB constantly. Also, music skips unless I set the priority to Above Average in task manager. I recommend this update, but only if your PC has the specs. (1 GB RAM+)

Version: iTunes for Windows 7
Pros: Allows full length movies and videos. Updated user interface which I quiet like and easy to find stuff.
Cons: Most people can't install it do to crashes or gets it installed but then they can't load it up. You need a credit card to get album artwork (windows media player 11 does it for free) When I first switched to the album viewer my driver crashed causing my screen to freak out. Won't let me update my ipod nano for unknown reasons. Music for some users has totally been destroyed with choppy lag and screeches.(almost like an old record) This version of itunes is the worst I've ever seen. Hopefully an update will come out soon! (if an update does come out I'll take back my remarks and do a new review) Sadly you need to update to view the itunes music store. Bummer

Version: iTunes for Windows 7
Pros: Nice new interface design. Neat cover art download feature (if you have an apple account).
Cons: Installation is completely busted and failed several times. Playback quality is sometimes terrible at best with crackling sounds, etc. New itunes also interferes with windows by turning on explorer "click" sound options in my system sound settings. This release is totally busted. Download and install AT YOUR OWN RISK!!! I'm going back to 6 and crossing my fingers.
If you don't believe me, go to the apple website, under support -> discussions -> itunes, you will find a posting with over 6,000 complaints already in less than 24 hours.

Version: iTunes for Windows 7
Pros: I think that this version has improved greatly since 6.0. It also has many more viewing options, just like WMP 10. And one thing I really like is the viewing of the album art. You can switch between every album you have and even view the album art if you have it. If you don't have it, right click on the song and click Download Album Art and it will automatically find the album art.
Other than the views, nothing much has changed besides the new look, which, in my opinion, is a great look for it. Also seems to be a bit faster than the last version.
Definitely upgrade, if you haven't had iTunes before, definitely download.
Cons: Although above, I said that it is faster, but its also 16 MB bigger as far as size of the program (although it's probably nothing compared to the size of all your music). And the viewing the album art view is a little slow and sometimes takes a few seconds to load the image.

Version: iTunes for Windows 7
Pros: I have been critical with Itunes and Ipod in general in the past, mainly due to somedevastaing glitches. 7.0 has it down and it is fabulous. No longer do I have to sift through several screens as life passes me by, just to SAFELY detatch iPod. Once the sync is through it frees itself from Itunes. And it is consistent. I also use Volume Logic (Found Here) for a natural "tube amp" sound. With the ease of playlists, and features like on the go, great shuffle and so on, I tunes is my player that i use most!!!
Cons: My only Gripe, I wish that i wasn't leaad to the open door of the music store. The store does have a lot of selections to some great music, but the whole 1 click thing, and the "don"t bite the taisty apple thing feels slimmy
