Editor's review of iNetFormFiller
Easily store and recover Web site form data with this browser utility, but expect little very help learning how to use it. iNetFormFiller's multiwindow, multitab interface will be daunting to novice users. Even experienced users will feel the need for a user guide, but newbie or old hand, the one line explaining the program isn't enough. The single page Readme file also doesn't give much information and clearly hasn't had an update in many years.
iNetFormFiller uses profiles, groups, cards, and detailed fields to store extensive user information. While it does make the application flexible, it will take some work to fill out all the needed data. You can easily add a field if you find a piece of information the program doesn't cover. iNetFormFiller doesn't automatically enter data. It takes two or more clicks to chose the correct profile and set the appliation to fill in displayed fields. The program does a fair job of helping fill out fields for Internet Explorer users, but Firefox and Opera users are out of luck. The program does perform well when copying browser form data to a profile. Most of the time a page full of form data can be saved with just a couple of clicks.
This isn't an application for novices, but intermediate to advanced IE users may find iNetFormFiller fits their needs. As long as they're willing to spend time learning its ins and outs on their own.
