When the herd of P2P applications was thin, iMesh was at the forefront, leading the file-sharing masses into the post-Napster void. Now, with file-sharing clients aplenty, the bar has risen and the competition has gone from none to fierce. Though it boasts some nice features, iMesh has only marginally improved upon previous iterations.
iMesh's sleek interface is simple yet elegant, housing the program's basic functions, including options for searching, uploading, downloading, and accessing the media library. Other notable features include a media player, links to the company's Web forums, and integrated chat. Unique tools such as advanced search-filtering and detailed download information also are nice. iMesh now connects to the Gnutella network, giving you access to millions of additional users. We wish, however, the developer had taken this idea a step further and added access to other popular protocols such as eDonkey and BitTorrent. Also, though we were glad to see fewer bundled applications this time around, you'll still be required to install an iMesh-sanctioned toolbar and view ads in the interface. Despite being the most realized version of iMesh to date, this program's lack of any must-have features, limited network connectivity, and inclusion of third-party software leave it somewhere around average.

"Not much better than version 5.0"
Pros: Doesn't lock up as much as version 5.0 did.
Cons: Still requires you to install a broken down version of mysearch bar browser hijacking spyware.

Pros: Is it popular and easy to use.
Cons: Take too long to connect and download. Some files just never start, and others were unable to find in the search. Contains also a spyware in side the program. Dont use this, use Shareaza!

Pros: It looks cool, has a cool UI
Cons: I would like to quote Woody26:
"I spit on imesh! Imesh is disgusting and dispicable."
I couldn't put it any better.
It's got spyware and it's just plain annoying. LimeWire has better results and faster download speeds, and i cannot believe that i actually tried to give iMesh a chance. Go get limewire or shareaza, those are better by miles and don't install spyware.

Cons: slow downloading.... ads allwhere...searchs nothing...i RECOMMEND LIMEWIRE PRO,bcoz its the fatest sharing program ever...it downloads at you maximum bandwidth speed..
