Publisher's description of fvSplitter

From freevryheid.com: fvSplitter splits MP3 albums into individual tracks and adds the title of the track to the MP3 file name and tags it at the same time. fvSplitter can search and download Compact Disk Database (CDDB) files. These files contain the track titles and durations. The duration information contained in these files does not necessarily match the split points between tracks in your MP3 album. fvSplitter allows you to manually adjust the presets in the CDDB files so that the individual tracks split from MP3 albums start and end correctly.

  Cons: Never connected to the cddb.com database so I was not able to use it. Other software I have do connect to that service without a problem though.

  Restrictive

  Pros: It will split an mp3 file using CDDB information.

  Cons: Its not totally obvious what it does the first time you use it. If you have an mp3 file that isn't listed in the CDDB then you're looking at a lot of work to get this program to split it.
