From SoftBulldog: aSkin cycles images over your Windows Explorer and Internet Explorer windows. Each time you open either program, a new skin will decorate its background. You can easily add and remove images that cycle as skins. Surprise yourself with new skins every time you open the browser or Windows Explorer.

Although this program lacks a heavy feature set, it adds some variety to Internet Explorer's look for no cash. The program's no-frills interface consists of a box that lets you choose from 13 included skins. Every time you launch a Windows Explorer or Internet Explorer window, aSkin randomly cycles though the skins you've chosen, which include such textures as wood grain, cloth, and stone. We didn't particularly like the look of some of the skins on our Explorer toolbars, as some of them obscured browser icons. You can add your own skins, as they're just BMP files in aSkin's program folder, but the program offers no assistance in helping you customize it. Nor will you find features that let you order the way in which the skins appear. Despite its simplicity, IE users who are tired of the same-old same-old might check out aSkin, particularly since it's free.

  Good idea to change boring skin designs on IE.

  Pros: I like the amount of designs there are and you can also import your own. The idea of brightening up IE is a brilliant one.

  Cons: The skins do show up on the My Documents folder but do not appear to work with Internet Explorer 7.

  I love it. Its awesome. Made my browser look awesome.How do you know it has spy?

  Pros: I like that fact my browser looks good

  Cons: A guy on download.com says its full of spyware, trojans etc. Well to late I've downloaded it. Guess I'll just have to find out for meself

  Pros: i like being able to add my own pictures

  Cons: I was disapointed because i thought it "skinned" the part where your files are shown not the buttons on top but still pretty cool
