This entertaining and surprisingly challenging shooter game replaces standard alien spaceships with--what else?--flying space chickens. You must shoot the chickens and avoid the eggs. Drumsticks and coins add to your score, while presents give you bonus items, such as better guns. You use the arrow keys to glide back and forth. Up and down arrow keys move you forward and backward, particularly vital during the asteroid shower stage. Though the jazzy soundtrack wears out its welcome after a while, the simple graphics work brilliantly. When you launch the game, it takes over the whole desktop; we would prefer a windowed mode. Chicken Invaders 2 appeals to any fans of arcade games or cartoon chickens. Just don't play on an empty stomach.

  Chicken Invaders is fun and Enjoyable for all ages.

  Pros: Graphics work Great and the program provides much enjoyment for children and the fans of Chickens!

  Cons: The program takes over the desktop and can cause errors over time if left running.

  Great game!

  Pros: Oberon games take a very slight amount of intelligence to install. After you click on the desktop icon and install it, you can open the game from the file you installed it in, not the desktop icon. Then you "register" (you can leave everything blank and click Next). After spending 10 seconds to do this, you have a great game reminiscent of Atari Asteroids, only with much better graphics and some really fun sound effects. There is nothing wrong with this game at all.

  pretty cool successor to the first chicken invaders

  Pros: if you liked the first one, you'll like this one too.

  Cons: asked to collect my personal informtion before it would let me play. troubling.

  Cons: wanted me to reg for the demo to play;

  and it wouldn't even follow through on the reg so it was a useless waste of time
