Zumobi revolutionizes the way people access, retrieve and share snack-sized bits of Web-based content on their mobile phones in a fun and innovative way. Zumobi widgets, called Tiles, provide an intuitive and engaging user interface, which can be customized and personalized with a wide variety of content including news, sports, weather, entertainment, games, and more. Zumobi Tiles can be easily sent via phone to other Zumobi members, allowing friends to quickly enjoy and share content together. Users can also create their own Zumobi mobile widgets from just about any Web content with the new Tile Creation Wizard now available on Zumobis website.
Version 1.1 supports social networking tiles and additional performance tweaks to enhance overall experience.

- "Zoom in, baby"
Picture Zumobi as an adorned parade figure on stilts. It looks wonderful, but can't help stumbling at times. This graphically rich grid of thumbnail widgets suffers from its share of performance hiccups. If you can overlook that, the free, ad-supported application may win a spot on your Home Screen. Users can zoom in to distinct widgets (called tiles) to check news or sports scores, view photos, get recipes, and play games. Rating tiles, browsing through a gallery, and sending tiles to friends is easy.
Zumobi's team has done a lot of work to make navigation more elegant and versatile to users' searching and storing needs. However, the rendering leaves room for improvement, loading tiles were often laggy, there's still no on-device tile gallery, and the app restricts users to the allotted 16 spots. Still, the free program offers a credible, legible alternative to browsing for specific content with a great bonus of creating tiles out of RSS feeds from Zumobi.com.
