This program blocks pop-up windows, cookies, and ads, as well as detecting spyware on your computer. ZeroAds Pop-up Killer and Ad Blocker lives as a panel on your desktop that shows how many nuisances it's blocked. In our testing, the program stopped all pop-up ads and many banner ads. The program automatically shows the name of spyware it finds, as well as the actions you can take. You can choose to hide the panel to the system tray or have a toolbar always on top of other programs. The Flash interface makes it look simultaneously more professional and friendlier than many similar programs.

The small font is hard to read against the black background. Happily, the publisher fixed the uninstall problems that plagued earlier versions, but uninstalling still requires a restart. That restart prevents you from answering the survey about why you uninstalled. The download file here is just an installer that downloads the real installer. We didn't like the registration nag that pops up during use; still, the high effectiveness of ZeroAds Pop-up Killer and Ad Blocker should please just about anyone.

  "This program hard crashed ie7"

  Cons: I Paid for this program...

  Technical Support NEVER answerd my querys about the IE7 crashes. The program is unuseable.

  "Dosen't work"

  Pros: installed easily

  Cons: Didn't block any ads. All the sites that annoy me with moving ads continued to annoy me with moving ads. All this SW did was ad another annoying control bar to my desktop.
