Publisher's description of Adobe Reader (Pocket PC)
Adobe Reader for Pocket PC software lets you view Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) files on Pocket PC devices. Adobe Reader for Pocket PC includes two components that work together: The ActiveSync filter runs on the Windows platform. It prepares untagged Adobe PDF files for the Pocket PC and transports them to the user's handheld device. The reader is the Pocket PC application, designed to accommodate the characteristics of small-screen devices.
Adobe Reader for Pocket PC allows you to choose between two ways to view Adobe PDF files. One allows you to view the Adobe PDF file exactly as intended. The second utilizes tagged Adobe PDF files, which provide the best reading experience on handheld devices because text and images can be easily reflowed to fit the screen size. Tagged Adobe PDF files can be created with Adobe Acrobat 6.0 Professional, Adobe Acrobat 6.0 Standard, Adobe PageMaker 7.0, Adobe FrameMaker 7.0, or Adobe InDesign 2.0. Version 2 adds mobile data entry, wireless printing, and slide show viewing features.
Editor's review of Adobe Reader (Pocket PC)
5.0 stars
These days, it's hardly possible to overstate the importance of Adobe's PDF file format. Government agencies, companies, publications, and many others all use it to distribute electronic documents that are print-ready. Many tools exist to read these documents, but Adobe's own Reader remains the leader. It is easy to find, easy to use, and very powerful; it handles password-secure documents, and of course offers all the traditional features such as text search and cut and paste.
This version brings most of those same familiar functions from the computer to the Pocket PC, allowing users to take digital books and other documents on the go. Running in conjunction with a synchronization program on the PC, it transports PDF documents to the handheld device, even helping resize some documents for the small screen. It's a free download, and in our opinion a must-have for every PDA user.

Version: Adobe Reader (Pocket PC) 2
Cons: I've loaded this on to my HP hw6900 and, although the PDA has a fair amount of free memory, it was a bit on the slow side. As far as the practicality of viewing pdf files on a PDA, unless you really need the info and are willing to zoom in and out due to the small size of the screen, it's not worth the effort. I've gone back to this a few times (3 to be exact), reloaded it thinking that perhaps I was wrong (since I love the idea of viewing pdf's on my PDA), but same disappointment.

Version: Adobe Reader (Pocket PC) 2
"Great Pdf Viewer , thumbs up!"
Pros: I like reading E-books on PDA & Adobe Reader makes it easier to do so.
Remember :
1 Use 'Tagged' pdf files, easy for your Pda (see Reader's read me for instructions) &
2. Use 'Reflow' feature of the Reader.
I have used it on O2 Stealth, Hp4150 & Asus P525 got good results.
Good text size options as well.
Overall Recommended!
Cons: As it is customized for PDAs image viewing isn't great.
OCR pdf difficult to read.
