Publisher's description of HyperCam
From Hyperionics Technology:HyperCam captures the action and sound from any part of Windows desktop and saves it to standard AVI movie files. Captures cursor movements, menus selections, windows popping up, and everything else you see on the screen. Correctly handles color palette changes if recording in 256 color mode. Allow you to pan the recorded area around the screen. Optionally annotates recorded movies with text. Version 2.14.02 fixed more Vista compatibility issues.

Version: HyperCam 2.14.02
"Amazing! Superb! The Best Screen-Recording Software I've Ever Used!"
Pros: 1) No lags.
2) It never misses a single frame.
3) Lightweight program.
4) Easy to use.
5) Hotkey capability.
6) Starburst capability (right- or left-click colored burst around the pointer).
7) Infinite screen-recording size options.
8) Choose different ways for the screen to minimize
when you start recording.
9) Sound recording works great!
Cons: 1) Not free. You have to buy a license.
2) The unregistered version leaves a very noticeable watermark in the top left corner.
3) You have to have perfect conditions for the sound to work great. I recommend the largest sound file you can get: 16 bit, 44100 SPS (Samples Per Second).

Version: HyperCam 2.14.02
"Works with so-so quality and no sound at all"
Pros: Its user friendly; moderate quality;
Cons: Sound does not work; I believe it works through a microphone to record the sound
lags sometimes

Version: HyperCam 2.14.02
"An easy, small tool for on-screen captioning"
Pros: It's a small tool, nothing unnecessary.
Only gives minor lag problems, easy to install, easy to remove, it isn't blocked after 30 days...
Cons: Quality could be better, and it's a bit annoying to start it up, you may need to close/minimalize all screens before you actually can recording.
