Users can dress up the Start menu and taskbar of older Windows versions into XP with this application, although different themes are difficult to modify. XPBar has a fairly user-friendly interface with clearly labeled buttons and prompts. The program lets you select a Windows XP theme from the two available themes, or you can browse the Internet to download more. With an XP Start menu and taskbar, this app makes you feel like you're using the real Windows XP. You can use the theme editor to create and edit a bar and add it to your own themes, although first-time users will have to take time to learn this tool. During testing, we tried using the theme editor and found it difficult to modify a theme because it lacks a help file. XPBar will appeal to users who are bored with their old taskbar look and those who do not have Windows XP.

Pros: I LIKE THE LLOK

Cons: I DONT LIKE THE PRICE YOU SEE MY WINDOWS 2000 HAS WONDERFULL MEM WITH LOTS OF GOOD LOOKS. THIS START BAR IS STUPID 20BUTS THAT SHOULD BE ZERO.

Summary: This is just adware It will cause More pop-ups. It will also slow down your pc. I learned the hard way! Don't download it!!!!!!!!!!!!

"XPBar is cool but there is some problems"

Summary: Well the only thing that I like about this is that it looks like a actual xp bar, but what you don't know is that it last only for 30days and thats it then you go back to the ugly bar.I truly think stardock is charging too much for this simple taskb... read more >>

"POS Program That Take Up A Lot Of The Needed System Resources"

Summary: POS PROGRAM TAHT MAY GIVE YOU THE XP BAR BUT IT IS FLAKY AND SLOW. IF YOU WANT THE XP BAR GET WINDOWS XP.
