This version contains: Apache, MySQL, PHP + PEAR, Perl, mod_php, mod_perl, mod_ssl, OpenSSL, phpMyAdmin, Webalizer, Mercury Mail Transport System for Win32 and NetWare Systems v3.32, Ming, JpGraph, FileZilla FTP Server, mcrypt, eAccelerator, SQLite, and WEB-DAV + mod_auth_mysql.

  XAMPP

  Does what it's supposed to.

  Pros: XAMPP does what it's supposed to and it does it well without slowing down your computer. There is a portable version for flash drives. It comes with PHP MyAdmin, and I'm sure there's a way to install Cpanel onto it.

  Cons: XAMPP is a little confusing, but if you're getting into programming in PHP and using MySQL, you should be smart enough to figure it out.

  good complete web server

  Pros: has everything you need to setup your own web server. especially useful for developers who want to test their sites.
