Whether you're studying for graduate school tests, or just looking to improve your word skills, WordSmart offers an elegant system for boosting vocabulary knowledge. The program offers five ways of memorizing new words, including simple multiple choice tests, virtual flash cards, and a shooting game. We are particularly impressed with the detailed explanation the application offers for each word, including etymological information that can help with the learning process. It is designed with a pleasant, smooth Flash interface, which most users should find simple to navigate through. A 14-day trial consists of only 20 words, but that should be ample for testing the program. We would happily recommend this to anybody who wants to build his or her vocabulary, but who wants more than just the traditional flash card approach.
