Wise-FTP helps you transfer files between your computer and the Internet with ease. Uploading a Web page or downloading files from FTP servers, this powerful FTP client with an easy-to-use interface offers many special features, such as drag-and-drop functionality for files and directories, quick previewing of files, and the synchronization of directories. Other helpful functions include simultaneous transmissions, secure authentication and file transferring (SFTP protocol for safety), Macro Recorder, Task Planner and an integrated HTML editor for editing files on the remote server. Work with FTP servers as if they were local files and directories, just like in Windows Explorer. Edit files directly on the FTP server.

Version: Wise-FTP 5.5.7

"Times out after 2 minutes, no matter what."

Pros: Does the file transfer fine.

Cons: Times out after a few minutes online, forcing the user to reconnect to the server, repeatedly. I've tried to change some settings, but the max time before connection time-out is 360 sec. Irritating.

Summary: This is a 2003 version of Wise FTP. I came looking for another FTP. I will probably never use Wise-FTP again, especially if I have to pay for it.
