Version: Windows Vista Business upgrade
"Basically a Windows XP SP3 for $$$"
Pros: If you want an update to Windows XP Pro SP2 and don't mind paying $$$, then go for it. Download the Vista Adviser first if you did not recently buy a Vista ready computer.
Cons: The Price, and the need to update video card to fully use DirectX-10 (not on my laptop). Vista is a disappointment for me.

Version: Windows Vista Business upgrade
Pros: the best version of vista i have tried.
it is not much of a system hog as the others "home premium, and ultimate". it is similar xp pro but easier to use with the network and network setup. it has a lively user interface and the needed software for networking.
it is efficient for laptops and portable pc's because it has a good control over power and cpu usage.
it is a good shift from xp.
Cons: the bad side of it is that it is expensive, and you cannot find drivers for it that easy.
it has a good firewall that blocks inbound and outbound activity from and to your computer.
i like the merged windows defender in the security center, but at the same time it is annoying to shut it down too.
for simple users who wanna use there pc in simple manners avoiding bad websites, they could manage going out without an expensive internet security suit, and use a free antivirus like avg or avast free versions with windows antispy "windows defender" and the built in firewall and worry free.
the thing is that shifting to vista is not will not be that easy and worldwide, and people wont easily let go of xp and move on to the new O.S
try it before you buy it and get to to know it first cause if you bought it and did not like it, you wont loose the money.
