Windows Movie Maker (Windows XP)

Great movie maker...

by: Lifaen on 22-May-2006 03:09:45 PM

Pros: Met all my movie making needs, and EXTREMELY simple, even the smallest minded child could learn how to use this in less than two days.

Cons: It makes my anime music videos look sucky... because it tries to make them come in unison, the song and the movie, so when a non-action part comes on, it looks really weird and glitchy...

Windows Movie Maker (Windows XP)

Best Existing Movie Making Deal

by: Platy Hill Huckabee on 08-Nov-2006 11:00:29 PM

Pros: For free, good transitions, worked fine under XP home or pro, hard to beat the deal. I've used Studio 8 and ULead and this is still easier to make sense out of and use.

Windows Movie Maker (Windows XP)

Useful when needed.

by: JoyceNgo on 25-Nov-2007 04:23:48 PM

Pros: This program comes with most Windows based OS computers and is useful when you have no other video making alternative or for small projects.

Cons: Unforunately, it doesn't have many capabilities.. however I didn't see why it was rated 1 star by CNET. It really isn't so bad to the point it cannot be used for anything... anything that's Microsoft, CNET can give it a low rating, however if it's a commercial shareware such as Firefox, Opera, or CCleaner, they would give it a high rating because they are gaining profit from it.. More like bribery, don;t you think?

Windows Movie Maker (Windows XP)

Excellent

by: zornot on 26-Oct-2007 01:24:56 PM

Pros: I have been using it to create movies since it was included in XP. Take a little time to read all of the help files, and you'll find lots of features that aren't obvious. I have had very few problems; it gives stunning results (if you know how to use it). I also use it to turn powerpoints into movies and to easily fix video clips when the sound becomes unsyncronized.

Cons: I haven't figured out how to use different aspect ratios in the same movie. It works best when you use .wmv files, converted with a program like SUPER.

Good, but limited

by: mattmattmatt15 on 31-Jan-2005 08:26:36 PM

Pros: Easy to use.

Has a samll amount of effects.

Mostly stable.

Use with Gold wave, and you unlimited with sound options.

Cons: Limited on effects, but really nice with windows xp plus.

Seldom crashes.
