SP3 makes your computer very slow

After installing this service pack, my computer which was working perfectly started to be very slow. The IE browser started malfunctioning. I recommend you not to install it, unless you have to.

Machine locks up a bunch

all of a sudden a good dual cpu machine with 1.5 gigs of ram and 500gig of HD crawls to a stop. lots of problems with system hanging. REMOVE AT ONCE.

Ruined my perfect working 2k system...

After installation, i had a lot of problems. Now i'm fine again, but only after re-installing 2k and lots of work!

Will not install

When I try to install this service pack on my computer it will freeze during the updating process, I have tried numerous times in numerous ways! I thought it might be slow so I left it sit for over a day, but it was still frozen during the upgrade. I couldn't shut down the computer after the failed SP3 installation, so I hadd to hardware reboot. It looks like I will have to wait for the fix for SP3 before I can install it.

I was going to download it, and burn it on a CD to take it to another PC that don´t have any Internet connection, and that´s not an available choise...
