Publisher's description of CursorFX
From Stardock:CursorFX is a program for Windows XP and Windows Vista that enables users to vastly improve the visual appearance and functionality of the Windows mouse cursor. Once installed, users can choose between hundreds of different mouse cursors with fluid animations, smooth edges, unique sizes, and more system event behaviors. In addition, CursorFX supports features such as smooth motion which the default Windows mouse cursor does not. Version 2 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, and bug fixes.

Version: CursorFX 2
"Very Good Looking But Too Heavy For Your PC..."
Pros: Very nice icons and animations and all the stuff. Gives a really good first impression. Some Cursors have become bigger and good looking than in CusorXP. A nice sequel to CursorXP.
Cons: The main problem of this software is that it takes a lot of memory usage of your PC. When you have applied a cursor from the software, just open up Task Manager and see the Memory this app is using up. So it is suited for high end PCs. Otherwise, the rest is nice.

Version: CursorFX 2
"Looks and performs great but..."
Pros: Nice interface and the supplied cursors are as well.
Cons: The downsides are: Only after running the package do you find out you DIDN'T have to uninstall CursorXP (that's counter-intuitive). All the extra features you see are available only in the Plus version. What bugs me most is CursorFX, like its predecessor, doesn't play nice with the NView Desktop Manager... The pointer disappears if you switch to other desktops. It can randomly appear BEHIND the taskbar if you have transparency turned on and the only way to fix it is to run other programs and let it work itself out.

Version: CursorFX 2
Pros: Sure, it allows me to use cursorxptheme files, but that's about it.
Cons: 1.] Moving objects (dragging and dropping) is not in ANY of the default themes installed with cursorxp.
2.] High Memory Usage limits it on computers, especially ones running other software like AVG 8, WAMPs, and other high-RAM consuming programs (IE: Firefox 3.)
3.] When the process is killed in the task manager (since CursorFX cannot be stopped via system tray or in the actual program itself, all cursors go blank, and you can't see where your mouse is.
4.] When setting the mouse cursor via the Windows XP Pointers tab, then going to use your pointer somewhere else, CursorFX Takes over once you use the pointer (IE: Move, Click, etc.) I don't think that should be happening.

Pros: It matches the mood
Cons: there are so many verity but there is no random selection choice that should change every day.
