Version: Penumbra 1.1
Pros: The puzzles in this game are very hard. I'm stuck at the moment. It is a real challenge to find what and how to do something or continue in the game.
Pretty detailed graphics, except for the cons bring that down (look below). Great options for gameplay. The story is ok, could've been better dialogue, but I'll give it credit ;).
Cons: Some graphics features messed up on the game. Luckily you can change the settings while in game until you get the right settings. Very low frame rate.
Sometimes complicated on how to do something (as in equip an item and use it correctly without messing up). Or wether the item is no equip and just use.

"Great First Person Horror Mystery"
Pros: If you think you are going to run thru this game you are dead wrong. This game requires thinking. graphics are great. It runs very well on my WindowsXp Sp2 System. I recommend this game to all those who want a FREE slow paced, thinking game. Gave it a Five Star Rating. Thanks Cnet.

Version: Penumbra 1.1
Pros: Frictional Games deserves a bigger budget for their talent. With a cutting edge physics engine and eye candy graphics, this horror title makes me wonder why you haven't played this yet. This game is scary and fun and at the same I didn't put it down.
Cons: The controls are a little funky but heck I can't complain. This is the BEST indie horror game I have ever played. Keep it up Frictional.

"overall, this is a must download for horror adventure fans"
Pros: Wow this game is amazing. For a technology demonstration (yes this is a demo) this game is genuinly spooky and the adventure/puzzle aspects make it really cool. This isn't another fps.. this is a First person horror game. You interact with the world.. The physics are amazing. Its sort of like Half-life 2 in the physics aspect. If you like horror adventure games, I really suggest you download this game.
Cons: - Its a demo. =p However, I think they will finish the game... So other than that, I can't think of any cons other than the fact that you cant defend urself (well if you dont count dynamite) However, that is just an opinion, not necessarily a con of this game.

"For those who have trouble with game loading"
Pros: I only played for about 15 minutes so don't know much. I got out of the first room.
Cons: I downloaded to a pc with a 32 mb integrated graphics chip, and the game wouldn't load. I tried it on a pc with an ATI 128 mb card, and it didn't load properly and I had to stop the game with Task Manager.
However, when I manually changed my display settings to 800 x 600 before loading game, it worked fine.
