From GameYard.com: You should choose this game if you want to play a good arcade game. It's a real must-have, free game for fans of classic Tetris. Stick to the rules of the game and go from one level to another. New tasks and bright blots will bring you hours of real fun and pleasure. In this game your goal is to adjust the blocks so they form lines that will disappear. The more lines that disappear at a time, the more points you get.

Basic Tetris is the name of the game here, but the design and playability of Free Tetris leave a lot to be desired. Developed as a standalone Macromedia Flash application, the look and feel of Free Tetris is raw, with clunky-looking blocks and horrible controls. Keyboard input is the only supported method for moving the blocks, and during our testing use of the mouse to select options sometimes resulted in game lockups. Some of the options you are asked to click, such as Restart, don't even exist. The program includes sound, but the basic click-clack you hear will make you want to hit Mute. Full-screen support and real Tetris gameplay are about the only things going for this game.
