  When with my Computer Desktop speed between 100 and 125 (Comcast ad says up to 150 and its close enough for me)This will make some movies etc into a DVD and looks very efficient and is easy to do ,does it in just around an hour or a little longer my speed being from my isp is 100 to 150 as advertised

  There are not many that this will do not even video_Ts as advertised so I could merge ,there are problems with several others ,it takes over an hour then tells you it cant do this type ,I have a very fast speed over 100 because if you try to do other things on same computer it will crash

  I should have looked around more this was great back in 2011 I forgot about it and am very disabled so I must choose what I buy more carefully the DVD on Windows is probably as fast and free ,often when Iwanted to use mkv lets say ConvertxtoDVD told me another product to DVD I needed to buy

• Poor output quality

  It works, it will take video and convert it to DVD format so you can then burn it to a disc and play it on any DVD player.

  1. Output quality is really lacking. For instance, I take a 4.3gb video file that looks great. I convert it with Convertxtodvd and burn it. It only uses up half the available disc space. making the video like 2gb maybe at best. now when I play that disc, the picture looks crappy, especially on any flat screen digital tv. you can see the little blocks of grain like when you have a video that has too low a bit rate. If the medium has the room, why cant convertxtodvd use the space and output the video in a higher bitrate? There are no settings to correct this or make it come out better, you basically get what you get with this program. People on the forums will tell you, well it does not use all your disc space because it does not need it. WRONG. 2. Often newer versions of this program really suck, you will suddenly get audio issues, errors or it just will not work at all, so you end up reverting to a much older version that actually works.

  Summary

  If anyone can recommend a better program that will take advantage of your full disc space and put out higher bit rate DVD's... Please share.

• Excellent, simple to use but very powerful video-to-DVD

  Pros

  Simple but very powerful video converter. Plenty of advanced features for tweaking your DVD output if you care to dig in and get the most of this converter. It has ability to cut off unneeded parts of the converting video. Excellent handling of subtitles in various formats with ability to adjust font, position, color, etc. Interface itself is very well designed showing all relevant info. After you use it few times you will never look back and will stop searching for 'perfect' video-to-DVD converter - because you found it in VSO's ConvertXtoDVD.

  Cons

  It will be nice from VSO to merge their 5 video converters into one. At the end they all do the same with slightly different output. So why not have one powerful program having it all?

  Summary

  After trying many paid and free video-to-DVD converters, I strongly believe I found 'the perfect one' which suits All my conversion needs. VSO provides regular ConvertXtoDVD updates meaning they care for their customers. Provided manual is comprehensive and easy to read.

  NONE AT ALL

  Cons

  Takes several days to convert. Tells you it can't burn due to errors. Doesn't the errors. Doesn't tell you how to fix those errors. When you try to remove files and burn again, you have to convert all over again, which still takes days. And it's NOT free. It's only a free trial, and they push hard for you to buy it. If they want people to buy it, it should WORK even when it's free. Horrible.

  The original version 3 is fine

  Cons

  Don't waste money on update to version 5 as the changes are purely cosmetic. If you already have version 3, stay with it and don't waste your money on the update.

  I've used this program for 3 years, and because I'm more than satisfied with it I've recently decided to buy the lifetime licence. It's without doubt a good investment as finding such an easy, efficient and add-free program is now getting very rare...

  ConvertXtoDVD5 is by far the best program to burn your DVD's period. Just select New Project and drag and drop any video on your desktop into it, select Convert and sit back and let ConvertXtoDVD5 convert and burn the best DVD's you will ever have. Play them on your TV, portable DVD player or another computer, you can't beat ConvertXtoDVD5.

• Brilliant Program

  Pros

  I bought this program a little while ago. It works perfectly, time and time again. Creating perfect DVD's of the videos that I throw at it. I love the fact that the program has a simple mode where you can just start it in a few clicks, or you can do much more advanced options. Compared to other software that is out there, this one just works really well and gets the job done.
