From Cedrick Collomb:Ever had such an annoying message given by Windows: Cannot delete file: Access is denied. There has been a sharing violation. The source or destination file may be in use or the file is in use by another program or user. Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is not currently in use. Unlocker is the solution. Unlocker is an Explorer extension that allows you with a simple right-click of the mouse on a file or folder to get rid of error message such as error deleting file or folder, cannot delete folder: it is used by another person or program.
Version 1.8.5 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

Version: Unlocker 1.8.5
Pros: Works very well for deleting files / folders that are locked (in use by another program).
You have the option to leave this program running. If something can't be deleted, a windows will come up explaining WHY. All you have to do is "unlock" any programs connected to the file to be deleted, then you can delete it.
Integrates very well into windows.
Cons: Doesn't work very well if something is really messed up on your system. If it can't delete something, it will try to do it next time you log on. It still doesn't work on all files/folders (even ones that should be OK to delete).

Pros: I had an annoying file that wouldnt move at all.I tried a few tools ie moveonboot and two other shredders.Unlocker worked a treat! No fuss, no trouble just did the job cleanly.

Pros: I have used this more times than I can count. It is the perfect weapon against unwanted programs that you cant uninstall. You use unlocker and you can uninstall it then. Or at the very least delete it.

Pros: I was referred by Spyware Terminator support. I was having difficulty deleting an older version. This program did the trick and allowed me to delete the last piece, an extension shell. It is a small program and works instantly.
Cons: Not much information on the home site. I had to go to downloads to learn anything about it.

Pros: I know there's a caveman method to remove stubborn files..but for someone like me who has no idea what to do if I accidentally change something in my PC..this is the best option for me.
There's this stubborn file that just can't be erased and I've had it for months. When I downloaded Unlocker it erased the da*n thing off my laptop. ^_^
