Glary Utilities offers numerous powerful and easy-to-use system tools and utilities to fix, speed up, maintain and protect your PC. It allows you to clean common system junk files, as well as invalid registry entries and Internet traces. You can manage and delete browser add-ons, analyze disk space usage and find duplicate files. You can also view and manage installed shell extensions, encrypt your files from unauthorized access and use, split large files into smaller manageable files and then rejoin them. Furthermore, Glary Utilities includes the options to optimize memory, find, fix, or remove broken Windows shortcuts, manage the programs that start at Windows startup and uninstall software. Other features include secure file deletion, an Empty Folder finder.

Version 2.6 adds support for Windows XP/Vista 64-bit version.

Glary Utilities' well-organized interface allows users to easily choose from several tools. It cleans unwanted junk files and removes invalid and broken shortcuts, freeing up valuable disk space.

Its Registry cleaner allows you to scan, remove, and back up faulty Registry entries. You also can wipe out online and Windows traces, although Internet Explorer is the only browser in which this function is supported. To improve the speed of your computer, Glary Utilities offers tools to manage start-up programs and memory optimization. Privacy-conscious users will certainly appreciate its inclusion of a government-standard file shredder to securely delete data.

Overall, users who are looking for an effective and easy-to-use application to keep their system in tip-top shape should try this one out.

  Pros: Suite of useful tools

  Cons: The "one click" is good for daily cleanups, but there is a host of other useful utilities included that can be very useful. Norton, your days are over!

  EXCELLENT PRODUCT!

  Pros: what can i say? it can do a little of this and that. it can clean up your pc, though not as thoroughly as ccleaner, it can check for false shortcuts and startup programs, it can clean out the registry and do a good job at it,it can clean up temporary files, spyware tracks and traces and even scan for spyware though i doubt it is a very in depth scanner but i could be wrong.all in all, there is no reason NOT to have this program, run it with ccleaner and your pc will thank you.

  Cons: none that i know of so far, but as i said i would use it with ccleaner rather than instead of.

  Pros: I use this software from older versions and It hasn´t disappointed me. It is not the only one but it is one of the best freeware in its kind. However, I do this, if the reasons to update my previous version are not applicable for my case, I am not in a hurry to update it. I just see the numbers of my version and the new one and I decide. In other words, if my current version resolves my needs, I trust it. I wait for a new version with important changes !

  This is great for older Laptops

  Pros: I used this on my old 2001 Compaq laptop, Win XP, and removing all of the unnecessary files allowed my laptop to operate much faster. Amazing a freeware is able to do this but I am glad that their is one that will and allow u to pick and choose which file you want to delete. I am going to recommend this to the folks I know who do not have a 2004 or later computer or laptop.

  Cons: So far I have yet to have any cons about this software
