Version: TwistedBrush Free Edition 14.2
"BEWARE, preview image is NOT what we get!!!"
Pros: It's aiiGHT for kids 7 & under but they'll probably get bored like I did after 15 minutes. The paid version is nearly $200.00 (for life) & $60 bucks for just 1 yr. but has a "15 day" trialware (teaser).
Cons: All we can do is paint w/ a choice of the same 12 brushes which shows up in every catergory. The "layer button, filters, effects, mask & script options" which is shown in download.com's preview image & on their free version help program DOES NOT COME W/ THIS VERSION!

"Better than Corel Painter or Photoshop"
Pros: I found this program much easier to use, and learn. Within days, I was making digital paintings of high quality.

Pros: Good for painting only.
Cons: I want to import my photos so I can touch them up with paints.

Pros: Not much to write home about. Why pay for what you can get for free? Deep Paint 2.0 is still free and lets you make your own brushes. It works with Vista, XP, and as a plugin with Phot0Impact up to and including PI X3.
Cons: You get what you pay for here. However, Deep Paint 2.0 is another story.

Cons: It has made me want to buy full version
