From Q Point Technology:TrueSafe allows you to backup your data to another computer over the Internet or to local storage (e.g. a USB drive). TrueSafe backs up your computer files, providing you with protection against loss, corruption, and accidental deletion. TrueSafe is designed for people who don't want to hassle with backups, it is easy to use, and runs automatically in the background. Backup your data to another hard drive, USB drive, USB flash device, or even securely over the internet to another computer running TrueSafe. Backup your data to the computer of a friend or family member. You can also host their backups on your computer and help your friends and family stay protected. Saving your files offsite provides you with a much higher level of protection. Other highlights include: comprehensive backup scheduling, including auto-start when you plug in your usb device, e-mail notifications, zip and native format archives, suspend/resume support, compressed archives, and encryption.
Version 3.16 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

"Great Utility - but beware the 1 Gbyte Freeware Limit"
Pros: Extraordinarily simple interface, rock solid dependable, stores files in native or zip format, e-mails backup status, no perceptible performance impact, stays out of my way and does what it is supposed to do! SW update was easy to install.
Cons: Freeware version will only back up 1 Gbyte and the write-up should be more clear about that. Full version cost me $29.95
Summary: I really like this software! I have been amazed at how useless the backup software that came with my external drives has been. They have incredibly, fiendishly complex user interfaces, and they usually failed (without telling me) after a few days or... read more >>

Pros: I did not bother to check, it is useless.
Cons: Maximum allowable dta to buckup 1Gb, outrageous. Oversimplistic interface.
