1Password is a password manager that uniquely brings you both security and convenience. It is the only program that provides anti-phishing protection and goes beyond password management by adding Web form filling and automatic strong password generation. All your confidential information, including passwords, identities, and credit cards, is kept in one secure place provided by Apple's OS X Keychain. 1Password browser extensions support Safari, Camino, Firefox, OmniWeb, DEVONagent, NetNewsWire, Netscape Navigator, and Flock.

If you visit a lot of Web sites and find you can't remember all those logins and passwords, 1Password is the perfect solution. Simply come up with a secure master password and you'll never have to remember your login information for all those sites again.

1Password keeps your info and prompts you to save it to a database integrating seamlessly with Apple's OS X Keychain. This means it doesn't matter which browser you use or if you often switch browsers or newsreaders--your login information can be entered automatically when you go to your favorite sites and forums using 1Passwords optional browser plug-in. Additional features include the ability to fill out online forms with the click of a button, and the option to create secure notes for your eyes only.

We particularly like the help guide at startup which makes it easy for any user to get started right away. Overall, 1Password is a great choice for anyone who visits a lot of sites and makes a great addition to any users security arsenal.

  Great Password utility

  Pros: I converted from PC to Mac, and had used RoboForm (excellent!) for managing my passwords. 1Password is the only option I found to do the same for a Mac, and has an import function for RoboForm data so I was up and running in under 10 minutes. What more can you ask for?

  Cons: Might require some form editing as login form pages change on websites, but that's a very simple fix that's more a problem with the site you're visiting, rather than with 1Password.
