- "Customizable screensaver for fish lovers"
If you're into pay-for-use screensavers, it's hard to imagine that there's a better looking one around than Dream Aquarium. Limited to only two fish species in the trial version, the full version sports 18 species for all you ichthymaniacs out there. However, there are no other handicaps, and users can take advantage of the well-drawn and well-animated options for everything from oxygen bubbles to tank background to the camera and animation speed.
There's some neat additional controls, as well: Users can feed the fish, and they can change the animation from 3D-renderings to wireframe. Our most recent XP tests didn't see the flickering we noticed in past past evaluations, though such flickering was noted during tests on Vista machines, indicating that there may be a coding issue and not a graphics card concern. Nevertheless, this is still a screensaver that's sure to relax and entertain.

"You Can dream with sound, pictures and colours. Enyoyable!"
Pros: All.
Cons: The way it pleads you to buy some new fish to the aquarium.

Pros: This is the most realistic (fake) aquarium I've ever seen.In fact, it looks more like the bottom of a stream,than it does an aquarium.
Cons: That it isn't easier to figure out how to get more fish.

Pros: I just love this. I use to have an aquarium and find this to be very realistic. KUDOs to the designers. This really is good beyond anything else I have seen so far.
Cons: I wish I could use the trial without so many boxes. I know that they want you to purchase it, but it would be nice to just have it run longer without commercials.

Pros: This screensaver is one of the more beautiful ones I have seen. Very realistic and adjustable. Some of the adjustments are more interesting than typical, like having a camera follow one fish.
