Version: Trojan Remover 6.7.1 build 2538
"A good backup scanner, more for advanced users"
Pros: Trojan Remover aims to fit the gap where others fail in detection and removal. It attempts to identify files based upon signature, heuristic, or other strange characteristics that may indicate a malicious file.
I have used it numerous of times to locate hidden rootkits, strange loading Vundo trojans, and other malicious malware. It really does have a lot of power under the hood.
Not only does it have the chops to deal with malicious files, it also has the ability to reset and repair much of the damage left over from such malware infestations- such as resetting explorer policies, fixing LSP chains, removing restrictions to the desktop wall paper, and resetting exefile hijacks.
Works on Windows 98 to Vista (32bit).
Updates to the program are frequent.
Cons: Does not work on 64bit Windows.
Needs a larger malware signature database.
Can be a little cumbersome.
Would be nice if some of the program's abilities could be implemented into realtime protection.

Pros: I just removed the trojan downloader.z (a nasty trojan with a built in key logger) with this tool. Something that I failed to do using my fully updated Mcafee. Fast, easy to use and a clean pc!

"This is the update for the main program"
Cons: This is an update ONLY for the main program itself, NOT the program. You have to already have Trojan Remover for this to work.

"great! the best trojan remover I found."
Pros: It found the trojan in my infected laptop, where no other antivirus was able to find, not even Kasperski!
Cons: nothing, everything is good
Summary: I have it now on all my computers. I recommend it read more
