Trillian
Very Good
Pros: I've decided to use Trillian now instead of opening seperate Yahoo & MSN messengers. Skinable interface and easy to use. Always connects without any problems. Good set of options to customise.
Cons: You have to upgrade to Pro to use Video.
Trillian
Much better than AOl.
Pros: >:D Trillian has a much faster start-up and is highly flexible in customization. It's IM sounds are much quieter than AIM 6.5. No ads. No spyware. No viruses. Free.
Trillian
Great all-in one!
Pros: I use this for ICQ, and MSN. It works great, and the fact that it is skinnable wins me over! Anything I can customize and tweak is good for me!
Cons: The file transfer part is a bit dodgy. Not sure if it's Trillian's fault, or the other person's chat client. Operation is not as smooth as I'd like.
Trillian
This is one cool app
Pros: I tried Pidgin before...doesn't even compare. This is one powerful app! It cracks me up that when you type LOL it smiles and laughs...I will take all the day brightening I can get. Adding multiple Yahoo accounts is great so I can stay in touch with business (imagine-believe-achieve.com) and personal at the same time. Keeping the contacts organized was a cinch. It has a much more professional modern skin then Pidgin...love that. Highly recommend it to anyone trying to messages using several IM applications.
Cons: I wish it had myspace IM available like Pidgin. My file transfer doesn't work. You have to pay $25.00 to use the webcam feature..that stinks...but thanks for no ads. All in all very happy :)
Trillian
Still the Best IM Consolidation Utility
Pros: While others try, Trillian seems to still be the best IM management utility. Hands down is saces desktop space for managing IM communications and provides relatively secure communications with others who also have Trillian installed.
Cons: A more complete interface with the updated IM services to allow for all features of each service (AIM, MSN, Yahoo!m etc.) to be fully utilized.
