Simple and effective, TradeAccountantPRO helps investors manage the accounting associated with trading securities. It supports several password-protected accounts, and transactions are filtered by accounts and securities. You can sort them by date, quantity, and other characteristics.

The Performance screen lets you review the security's price, cost basis, 52-week high and low prices, and unrealized gains. Through Groups, you can monitor the realized capital gains or losses of all securities for which you have both buy and sell transactions.

The Reports screen allows you to review grouped transactions using predefined templates and to print out a Schedule D-formatted report. You can even import data from CSV, text, Quicken, and Microsoft Money files. Trade AccountantPRO will be of interest to active investors.
