Although this e-book contains a large selection of Irish limericks, its extremely stingy demo forces us to hand out a below-average review. You can run the trial of The Limerick Isles only once! On top of that, the developer warns that the program will shut down with no warning, so it's a toss-up whether you'll have enough time to decide if it's worth buying. The interface mimics that of a real-world book, with appropriate graphics to spruce up the appearance and add functionality. A pop-up toolbar allows you, among other things, to search for specific keywords and place names. But that's a minor benefit in a book of jokes, and even setting aside the draconian trial restriction, we see no reason to buy this program. You can easily find paper books of Irish limericks for $10 or less.
