Publisher's description of NewsBin Pro 4.32
From DJI Interprises:NewsBin is a multithreaded news robot that automatically downloads and decodes binary posts to Usenet newsgroups. The program will take full advantage of high-bandwidth Internet connections by allowing multiple, simultaneous connections to your news server or servers. NewsBin includes resume capabilities to recover from lost connections. It reassembles multipart posts across multiple servers and includes real-time rendering of thumbnails when downloading images. Other features include yEnc encoding support, corrupt-post detection, per-server configurations including connection limits and download limits, NZB and BNS message ID file support, and advanced connection management.

Version: NewsBin Pro 4.32
Pros: I was a bit wary of using Newsbin Pro after reading the previous comments but I need'nt have worried.
I've found it very stable. It's very logical & easy to operate with a wizzard to get you connected. You can change all the fonts which I like very much.
The downloading of files is easy to do & you can see what's going on in a well thought out layout. Highly recommended!
Cons: None

"If you are looking to buy a newsgroup program buy Newsleecher instead"
Pros: It looks nice.
The logo/icon looks cool, with the Robot and all.
Cons: Its not free.
Its quite expensive.
Hard to setup.
Hard to learn. Newsleecher is much easier to learn and use.

Version: NewsBin Pro 4.32
"unlimited upgrades from version to version"
Pros: Options--> Setup-->First time records(setting a limit here will "fix" the crashing problem)
A must have if you must access several servers
Filters are easy to set. No need to create complicated .ini files(a la xnews) to set a filter, just checkboxes and drop down options, very easy.
V.5.05 handles nzb by putting par files on a "scratch" list(just in case) and not downloaded automatically, which saves me a few gigs * ahem* MEGABYTES by the end of each month :)
Cons: "Compacted" file icons are no different then uncompacted ones. This could have been a nice feature, but it doesn't seem totally flesh out yet. :(
Does not minimize to the system tray!!

Version: NewsBin Pro 4.32
"Excellent for Binaries - stabilitiy not an issue"
Pros: - Excellent for downloading and managing binaries
- Stable (not had any crashes)
- Flexible screen layout means you can work the way you want
- Good search options
- Excellent for jpgs showing them as downloaded
I was a bit worried about the stability, reading the other review, but no issues here (Pentium 3Ghz, 1MB RAM). Easy navigation and setup and posting
Cons: - Bad handling of text messages (but then it is NewsBIN (for binaries)
- Loading of very large groups can take time (and this I imagine can cause crashes)
- Options handling could be better organized, but is usable
