From RitLabs:The Bat is an e-mail application that supports multiple POP3 accounts, multithreading, MIME and UUencode standards, multimedia, APOP authorization, and PGP. It features message notification, message sorting, message templates, and minimization to the system tray. You will also find a fast and comfortable message editor with text-highlighting, as well as a mail dispatcher for managing messages on servers. English, Russian, German, Dutch, Polish, Swedish, Italian, Lithuanian, and Romanian interfaces are built in, as is a multilingual spelling checker.
Other features include automatic dial-up networking (which is configurable for multiple accounts), an account-creation wizard, and the option to include a photo with each address-book entry. You can also view HTML messages, use multiple templates as you type a message, exclude certain messages from the MailTicker, and search a folder by typing the first character of its name. There are also enhancements such as message coloring, flagging, advanced filtering, speed improvements, and virus protection. New in version 2.01.3: more anti-spam options: mark as read when moved to the Junk folder, move messages to the Junk folder when marked as junk, possibility to use the common Junk folder. Support for Microsoft Office Keyboard commands. Address Picker: it is now possible to add addresses manually (not from Address Books).
