RSS news feeds you control. Weather forecasts, both local and national. A built in radio where you can choose from thousands of stations worldwide. Live TV feeds in the toolbar which you can click to make full screen.

Access to hundreds of worldwide live TV stations with no fees. Also get notified when you receive new e-mails to your POP3, Yahoo, Gmail, or Hotmail accounts.

Version 4.5 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

Editor's review of TVPC HD Toolbar

If you already have a toolbar or two, you won't find any new features here. TVPC HD Toolbar installs smoothly, and you can customize the features displayed.

This toolbar's claim to fame is offering you access to online TV, but it doesn't really provide the TV shows so much as show you where to find them. The Channel List function opens a Web page listing links to TV feeds from around the world. The Download HD files just led to another page of files. A function to broadcast your own station leads to, you guessed it, another Web page to create an account and download software. Finally, the function to download free movies surprises no one by opening another Web page of public domain film links. The films stream in the now common small-size interface with very basic play, pause, and volume controls.

Irritatingly, all the TV options of this toolbar open in new windows. After running through this toolbar once we merely saved the links as favorites and deleted the bar. Anyone can use it, but few will really feel compelled to keep it.

  TVPC HD Toolbar

  Not the best but ....

  Pros: After testing various TV software and visiting loads of sites. most of them offer a free trial or preview and then they make you pay to sign up, or are cluttered with ads. I think that is ridiculous... so ive done my research and have found a couple of really decent sites. The first one Id like to draw your tention to is (viewmy.tv) This site has almost 1300 channels from around the globe and counting. it is free to register and they dont ask for stupid details, just your username and email address. It actually streams live channels so you dont have to download any and they have a pretty easy way of finding the channel you want. You can search through genre, country, region or name of the channel. oh and there are no ads either. Check this one out. With over 1300 channels from hundreds of countries, loads of features like channel rating, user recommendations, live chat, profile pages and much much more.

  TVPC HD Toolbar

  tool bars great, some stations would not play, and kept freezing up.

  Pros: tool bars okay

  Cons: freezing up when trying to watch tv, and some channels wouldnt work.
