Terrific Firewall
Pros: Easy to install, configurate and if necessary easy to uninstall without rests. Doesn't lose internet connection. After I installed this version, which is total free, I did the ShieldsUP! test from the Gibson Research Corporation website and found that all tested ports are stealthy, like it must be with a good firewall. Sygate Personal Firewall remembers settings, so it will not give more pop-ups than necessary. Conclusion: Sygate Personal Firewall is the best choice, because it also controls outgoing traffic, while Windows XPSP2 Firewall leaks.
Hi Mike.
I think you posted this review in the wrong place. This firewall costs $40 bucks but does have a free trial. I did give you a helpful vote though. It is a great firewall for an "XP" system.
