With about as much erotic charge as a stack of playing cards, Hot Game Girls Screensaver is simply an anemic slideshow of video-game heroines in some of their more revealing outfits. Favorite characters such as Lara Croft of Tomb Raider and Kasumi of Dead or Alive 2 pose for what looks like standard grade school pictures (outfits notwithstanding) so parents concerned about inappropriate situations can rest somewhat easy. There are only five to seven different images, most of which are repeated. The only configuration option is to change the music. The image quality is uneven, with some pictures crisp and others muddled. Installation gave us pause; it proceeded in two parts, one which attempted to hijack our browser (which we declined.) While this download may be a fan boy's dream, it's a yawn for the rest of us.
