Sucubus is a free, open-source search engine which helps you find and download music and videos from all over the Web. Sucubus uses YouTube for video results and gives you the ability to save the videos into popular formats for your iPod, iPhone or even convert the video into an MP3 with a single click. Sucubus also searches the Web for MP3 files that people have chosen to share on the Web. This makes it a great tool for retrieving files that are very rare and hard to find. This open source application is licensed under GPL v2.

Version 1.04 adds new Full-Screen feature for videos and increases the maximum number of downloads from 5 to 100.

"Not bad at all!"

Pros: For a free browser based app it is a very useful tool.

Cons: It only gets video from YouTube so it is limited there and sometimes it is slow to work and download.

"Very Aggresive, Very effective"

Pros: I liked the fact I could queue up like 25 songs, and they downloaded pretty fast. A lot of content avaialable, all from the web. Also the conversion to ipod is really cool

Cons: The interface could use a few more hints for the video conversion, but its the first version.
