"After 4 attempts to d/l it finally mounted. So far so good."

Pros: I have had it installed on older OS Macs and found it invaluable. This latest version on OSX is even better.

Cons: I don't know what the problem was but it took five attempts to download it and install!! It kept dropping out and the comment was "mounting failed".

"Once was top dog - but the competition has overtaken it"

Pros: Good for opening legacy Stuffit files

Cons: Other programs out there other more flexibility, ease of use and greater compatibility

Summary: Will use it for opening legacy Mac archives and the odd e-mail attachment, that's all. Pity, as I was an avid user of Stuffit Pro on MacOS 9.0 and Windows XP, but now OS X and Vista offer pretty good archiving/expansion directly from within their OS... read more >>

"Very simple to use and works fine."

Pros: Just double click the file you need to decompress and your there.

Cons: I can't find a way for it to decompress encrypted files.
