Free RAR Extract Frog is a new skinable extraction tool for RAR-archives that supports spanned archives as well as the decompression of password protected files. It comes with short instructions in 45 languages. Start the extraction of a RAR file by drag 'n' drop, double click or shell integrated context menu. To speed the decompression process up, Free RAR Extract Frog has the option to define a default output folder or a default password or both. Change the program's skin by simply dropping a JPG image on the image above the short instructions. This version is the first release on CNET Download.com.

  Free RAR Extract Frog

  It does exactly what it's mean to!

  Pros: There's nothing sophisticated about this! You drag and drop and it unrars your files, joining them in a pretty quick space of time. And that's it! It's a perfect example of thhe notion that whatever exists as paid-for siftware has its just-as-good equivalents as free downloads.

  Cons: One gripe is that you can't specify an output folder - it places your file in the same folder as the rar files you're extracting, which can be a pain sometimes.

  I love RarZilla, but this is even better!

  Pros: I love RarZilla, because it is fast and easy to use. This program uses the RarZilla engine with all its power and additionally has the great feature that it is skinable. Now I can use a picture of my girlfriend as skin. Yeah! :-)

  Cons: It comes with three demo skins and it is easy to use any picture I like as skin, but I wouldn't mind if "Free RAR Extract Frog" came shipped with a lot more bonus skins already included. Ah, well...

  Simple and Easy

  Pros: Rar Extract Frog is one of the best mini applications that I have ever downloaded. It has a tiny and practical interface that with ONE drag-and-drop youâ??re set. You donâ??t need to click on menus or work with complicated settings. If you are from those that once in a while need to extract RAR files here and there, this is just right for you. It can quickly extract files bigger than 700MB without any part of it being corrupted. No downsides at all. No spywares and add-onâ??s at all.

  Cons: Overall there are no downsides for this software. The window of this Rar Extract Frog comes with a couple of extra tabs with advertizing material, but those are not prompted when you launch it. So you actually donâ??t see them if you donâ??t click on them. If you do so, you will be directed to the company website or another website for donations. HARMLESS. Well, it is a freeware; theyâ??ve got to make some moneyâ?¦
