Publisher's description of Strategic Commander 1.0
From ZindaWare:Strategic Commander is a turn-based strategy game set in space. It is similar to Milton Bradley's "Risk" or MicroProse's "Civilization." Your objective is to eliminate each opponent by taking over his home planet while defending your own. You build facilities on your planet to manufacture ships and mine gold, in order to venture out onto new planets. You can invest your gold in building more manufacturing facilities or in valuable research that is used to build faster, more powerful ships. You can play against the computer, against other people, or against a combination of computer and human players.
Note: Only the smallest universe can be played in the demo version. Registration costs $14.95.
