From ImageMatics:StillMotion Web Developer (WD) is a Flash authoring tool. With WD you can create interactive environments of image presentations, slideshows, and navigation menus. Create Web pages, Flash (SWF), .exe, CD, and screensavers with menu navigation, slide actions and management of multiple linked shows. You can create webs of SWF files, add an adaptive preloader, link images to images, swf files, Web pages or any type of multimedia content. Extensive sound management provides play lists, automatic track switching, blending and automatic timing functions. Image, slide and menu actions include get a URL, load and run a Flash file, jump to an image in a show, loop, and pause.

A useful program for making simple Flash animations from digital slide shows or image sets, StillMotion's simple, configurable design puts it heads above many of its rivals.
A helpful wizard leads users through the process of opening or modifying projects. New projects are created simply by opening images, with the program making it easy to choose how they'll be displayed. A Properties section allows users to configure features such as background sound, screen resolution, and comments. Slide shows can be previewed before being turned into their final form.
Even without the wizard, the program's well-organized interface should make it simple for even relatively novice computer users to operate. Advanced features offer the ability to create elegant menus or linked presentations. Projects can be saved as Flash or as EXE files, or saved to CD.
We would have liked to see a few basic image editing features added, but on the whole, we would rank StillMotion among the best tools available for turning slide shows into Flash presentations.
