From Igor Vigdorchik:The Sticky Notes application allows you to create electronic sticky notes directly on your Windows desktop. The Sticky Notes are just like paper post-it notes for your computer. Jot down tasks, messages, ideas, appointments, phone numbers, birthdays in a note and stick it on the desktop. A note can be positioned anywhere you wish, or hidden in your task bar, then searched and displayed later. Notes can be resized. The note's contents can be formatted to include fonts, colors, transparency and hyperlinks. Also notes have a click thru capability. Once on screen, notes will remain where placed until closed, even through reboots. Sticky Notes application is small and simple and all notes are kept in the text file. It does not use the registry.
Version 1.99 changes include: user-selected data file location, backup/restore of a data file, tile/cascade notes, locked notes.

Pros: It does exactly what it is supposed to do, and some cool graphics features such as transparency, pin to top, and click through...
Wish he provided us with the source code
Cons: Some minor design flaws with the click through, and unnecessarily pins itself to the task bar when runned

"Can't get rid of it from my desktop!"
Pros: Sure its cool because you don't have to install it.
Cons: When I post a note on my desktop, I tried the options like transparency, etc. and i locked it. but when i open other windows it keeps on popping up on top of the windows.. then I set the options so that when the mouse is on top of it, it will disappear. In the end, i was like playing hide and seek with this note when i tried to close it. I tried everything from the options in the quick launch whatsoever, and delete it, but it keeps on popping up 5 seconds later.. Finally i have to end the program with windows task manager, find "sticky notes" in the Process tab, select it and click the 'end process'..
Quite annoying..

"Best one I've tried, amazing features for free"
Pros: I tried several of the offerings, but this is the only one that is 1) tiny (around 300k), 2) does not have ads 3) does not make my PC hang and 4) has resizeable boxes and sophisticated appearance settings. Oh, and it does not modify your registry (requires no install). Great
