This "doctor" may have more illnesses than cures. Though this utility claims to help control programs that start up with Windows, it simply lists the titles and often overlooks more insidious programs such as malware. Startup - Doctor lists applications according to their location in your computer registry. Though you have the option to temporarily prevent a program from launching at start-up with this utility, the program doesn't give any hints as to whether the program is beneficial or not. Most disturbingly, the program doesn't alert you to the presence of malware in your system at all. Overall, we'd appreciate a doctor that is able to examine both the symptoms of a slow PC and find a cure--and Startup - Doctor does neither.
