You can work faster and more efficiently by using your keyboard instead of your mouse. HotKeyz is a keyboard utility that will boost your productivity and it is really fun to use. HotKeyz lets you easily create and maintain a categorized list of your hotkeys. Each hotkey, a key combination on your keyboard, will launch a command. You decide which commands go with which hotkeys. Some of these commands are internal HotKeyz commands and the rest are Windows commands. HotKeyz will help you to manage repetitive tasks on your PC with speed and minimal effort. The conventional way to open a program on your PC is by pointing your mouse to the Window start button, clicking on the Start button, then you will click on All Programs, your eyes must first look and search for your program icon, then you must click on it and only then it will be the program be launched. With a hotkey you simply press the key combination you have defined for your program and HotKeyz will launch it.

Version 2.6 adds an option to execute marked hotkeys/commands when HotKeyz starts, extra options for the Countdown command, and a setting to disable the standard windows hotkeys.

  "It's alright, but there's better choices."

  Pros: Quick access to your programs.

  Cons: Try Keybreeze. Much more intuitive, tiny program that does everything HotKeyz does but better and MORE!

  "Good and Nice Program !"

  Pros: I have used it during some weeks and I like how it works. It is a personal way to work with the PC. You can configure it as you want and It will work friendly. In order to configure it and getting best results, you should understand how it can work for you. So, you will have the best configuration to your needs and liking. Software is good. Not any kind of troubles.

  "Great Program"

  Pros: It does what I wanted, and more. I like the minimize windows hotkey, which I never really thought about creating.

  Cons: Sound muting doesn't seem to be compatible with Vista yet.

  Also, this program doesn't compensate for human stupidity :) [I just didn't think that hotkey-ing something as Control-V would be a bad idea....]

  "One of the best utilities ever!"

  Pros: Hotkeyz is two of the best windows utilities I have ever used. I give full marks to its developers for their dedication and brilliance to create such a nice software and to distribute it freely! I have been using Hotkeyz for the last one and half month and I was amazed by it's performance and stability even though it's a free one. It's the best Hotkey utility software you can ever get comparing to the pricey softwares like turbo launch & active keyboard. Cheers to the developers and I wish if they continue to add more features to this app.

  Cons: Not really a con but the interface can be little more modern. Something that matches XP.
