Version: StarKnights 0.9.9
"For people like to trade and think"
Pros: You can cheat a little. After the first 1-5 missions you can get lvl4 or 5 if you got time. The best is to restart a mission if you see there aren't much planets around (or no jungle and/or mountains nearby), the reason is quite simple: the more planets are around your planet, the more pirates you can fight off. Killing the pirates will give you the most XP points what you can use to improve your attributes. I suggest to be fast and first get more minerals, then improve factory. After a while you can also improve your ships shield, then the fire power and get alien tech, which can give you some advantages (not like illusion or cloak should count a lot...).
I suggest you shouldn't build any new colonies until a pirate is there, so you can beat it then you can build onto any planets there.
Also, at start get factories to produce aluminium and steal, so you can get structures.
The game play is slow, cause of the flight time, but the battles are real time (no pause). A suggested tactic for the battle - if haven't got good units - is to get a ship with good armor and send it closer to the enemy: while they shoot the strong unit, you can kill them easily.
The registering process was easy, however, you will need Internet connection.
You won't finish this game within a week :).
Cons: Freighters will pick up Structures and will bring those to planets where i'm building something. The problem is that several times they bring more to the colony so some structures - which needed for any building - will remain there untouched until i tell to export it.
Some times there's a bug with loading if i let the game hang for a while.
If i got time i can easily beat the enemy cause of higher level ships.
The graphic, yeah, they should improve it.
You can only save to 1 save slot - single player - , which means you can't reload other levels.
