At the beginning of the 23d century we lost our planet The war didn't last long as the enemies attacked unexpectedly. Humanity wasn't prepared for the battle and was defeated. Only few managed to survive in that war. And at the moment when everything seemed to be lost, several lucky pilots did the thing, which no one expected them to do. They broke loose from the enemies' encirclement on their small fast pursuit planes and left the solar system. There was the only one way for them to be chosen--to go to the Cynosure and ask its inhabitants for help. Once the Earth did a favor to the people of Cynosure and now it was time for them to repay.
Star Defender II includes 9 missions with a Boss at the end of each. Your ship is controlled by your mouse. It moves along the lower line of the screen shooting with the bullets and missiles. Version 1.25 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

Version: Star Defender II 1.25
Pros: I think that SD2 is one of the best games I've played, but this particular download has a Trojan included in the .exe file. The name of the virus is Backdoor.Win32.Rbot.awz. Beware!! Rbots are sometimes diffucult to delete
