This application calculates a wide variety of mathematical functions and displays the results as maps, lines, data tables, polygons, or numbers. Designed like a scientific calculator, SplineCalc has a busy interface loaded with functions. Unless you are familiar with scientific calculators, however, you'll need to peruse the help files to learn how to maneuver around. SplineCalc saves the results of calculations, and you can view the history by clicking a button and copying it to other applications. The 30-day trial allows enough time to familiarize yourself with the program's numerous functions. Though obviously not intended for average users, scientists and advanced science students are likely to find SplineCalc an invaluable resource.
